What is Lifestyle School Photography?
This approach provides a fresh, modern update to school (or daycare!) portraits. It differs from the typical posed photos that other school photography companies might offer. I ensure children are comfortable and relaxed by spending an extra moment or two chatting with them. I take the time to create photos that show each child’s personality, capturing unique images of smiles and genuine expressions; with a simple dark background that allows the light on the child’s face to shine.

We have a school portrait system in place. Why change?
I aim to capture the true personality of children, providing images parents will be excited about. Imagine having parents post their children’s photos on social media and in their homes, bragging that their school provides such beautiful school portraits. It is a custom, unique experience, from start to finish.

What services do you offer?
Everything operates online. Families are linked to an online gallery to view their child’s images, usually 3-6 each, presented in colour and black & white. Families can order prints and packages online, right from the viewing gallery. I also provide boutique product choices such as canvases, and mini “brag books”. Prints and products are delivered to the school. A document describing the shooting day procedures and photo ordering process will be provided to you to be distributed to families via email.

I offer sibling, staff, and full class shots if desired. Staff are provided with complimentary digital images of their photos. Any collection orders are provided with a free 5x7 class photo. Multiple sibling orders are discounted at 5%.

I undertake any communication from parents, from start to finish, once the school sends the initial email.

Are these images and products expensive?
I offer competitive rates, and nothing is due up front. All ordering is due once families see the images. Families can order individual prints and digital images, and there are cost effective collections available as well.

What time of year do you conduct photos?
Any time! I work with each school to schedule photo day any time during the year.
